Ten things I remembered while we were at the amusement park:
- Everyone laughs, screams, whoops and hollers in the same language.
- Getting a little bit scared is really fun and probably good for you, from time to time.
- There comes a time when going around and around and around and around and around in a circle, while spinning around and around and around and around one's self is not a smart thing.
- Sometimes you get a real surprise and the souvenir cup is 50% off.
- There can be too much of a good thing - all the soda one can drink in a day doesn't make you feel good.
- Don't judge anything before you try it. (Heights might actually feel higher than they look from the ground.)
- Go-carts never get old.
- Hearing screams of delight makes a person feel lighter.
- It always helps to hold hands when you feel a little nervous.
- The world and its people look really, really happy and friendly from above. It's good to get a bird's eye view every now and then.
